Today is day 5 of the One Funnel Away Pre-Training materials.

Have you ever wondered if you have undiagnosed ADD? No? Oh, me either. 🙂

Just kidding, but one of the things we got to watch today was a TWO-HOUR webinar featuring the co-founder of LadyBoss, Kaelin Tuell Poulin. She is a fantastic and very high energy soul. In fact, I’m pretty certain she was sitting on a yoga ball bouncing during her presentation.

Anyways, I was super impressed with her energy during the 2-hour webinar. I aspire to be like her one day. However, I think I’m gonna need a little pep me up to get to that level.

The reason they had us watch the presentation – well- there are probably a lot of reasons… but I assume it’s so we can get comfortable with the process of holding webinars, Marketing, Selling, and Closing. I found it a little discouraging that in order to get to the next level we already need to sign up for the biggest package of packages and spend a lot more time watching, learning, and implementing.

I know marketers are always selling, so it’s definitely not a surprise, but its one of the things that bothers me just a bit. Like, let’s get A done before we start on B. Regardless, I am super excited because I know I’m on the right track.

Stephen Larsen, one of the instructors, broke down the differences between Marketing, Sales, and Closing. This part was pretty interesting because I always figured I was just an operations girl, but I think I definitely earned the word “Marketer” in my title now that I think about it.

To put it simply, he said this… Marketing is the act of changing someone’s beliefs with the intent to sell them something. I should put quotes around that, BUT, I may have missed a word here or there and don’t want to misspeak.

Anyways, it was a good session overall, and I’m very much looking forward to Monday, which is the first day of the actual One Funnel Away Challenge!
